It’s a strange observation, but one of my first thoughts with this book was that it’s the perfect size to tuck in your back and take to the craft store and use it as your shopping guide!
This book is so well organized and the instructions and photos (which are well done) are easy to follow and the ideas are so inspiring!
What a perfect guide to serve as a launchpad for Halloween ideas, whether you’re throwing a party or just decorating at home or the office.

I love Halloween, and this book has inspired me to start decorating for the Halloween season. The photography is gorgeous and the instructions are fun and easy to follow. I can't wait to start putting together my first theme party!

I love the little suggestions for color palettes, costumes, and food and drink. The instructions were easy to follow and there was a good variety of themes to suit individual likes. These would work well for a Halloween party of a Halloween birthday party and general macabre décor for anyone who likes skulls etc. I would have enjoyed some recipes to go with the drink/food suggestions.
I loved how there were templates included for the designs featured in the themed segments.
The short history was informative and fun to read, and the detailed description of carving a pumpkin was awesome, would have liked some before, during and after pics of this part though, especially for first-timers.

Pumpkin and Party Themes is a book full of great Halloween party, celebration, and just plain fun ideas. The book includes a brief history of pumpkins and Jack O'Lanterns. I enjoy historical aspects of holidays and this book delivers.
The book includes pumpkin carving basics, tricks, and tips. Written in an easy to understand way, the book will be a wonderful addition to anyone's crafty, DIY bookshelf. The author even includes step-by-step instructions on how to create some of her designs. The end of the book includes stencil patterns, as well.
My favorite parts of the book are the steampunk and coffin sections. I can't wait for everyone to have the change to grab this book. You will love it and be as excited to try some of the projects as I am!!
